  12. You can make home made hamburger helper. Buy enough ground turkey or chicken to feed the entire family, green pepper, tomato sauce, onions, onion powder, garlic powder, basil, oregano and your favorite pasta. I’d go for shells or bow ties since you have kids. This will make the dinner interesting and fun for them. Brown the ground turkey, boil the pasta to your liking and combine all of the ingredients in one pot. Tomatoe sauce and all. Don’t forget the pasta. And your food is done. Very inexpensive tastes good and because you used ground turkey or chicken it’s very lean. You can also make corn on the cob and salad as your sides. Oh yeah if you like garlic bread. Enjoy

  13. Pasta marinara
    Stir fry
Red or green chili with beans (mostly beans makes it cheap)
    Tuna or chicken casseroles
Beef chuck or pork shoulder roasts

my mom made tator tot and beanie weenie casserole a LOT when i was growing up. first do a thin layer of veggie oil on the bottom of a casserole dish, then a layer of frozen tator tots, then a layer of cheese, then a layer of rice, then a layer of pork n beans. last layer should be a layer of cheese, and when its golden brown and melted is how you know the whole casserole is done. sounds gross but its AWESOME!
